Used to love coming here but everything has changed I order chicken a shredded beef with ground beef I repeated my order 4 times cause it seems liked no one understand they told me they got it I got my order it was still wrong items were missing things were added they weren’t supposed to be there and no one decided to refund me or remake it . The food is okay, but we encountered some issues with our online pick-up order. The estimated time for pick-up was 15 minutes, but when we arrived 40 minutes later, we were informed that we would have to wait an additional 15 minutes. On a previous occasion, we arrived 20 minutes after placing an order and had to wait over an hour for our food. The quality of the food does not justify the lengthy wait times.
I was really disappointed with my experience at Pikalo Jp. I was told to wait for 20 minutes, then another 20 minutes, which turned into a full hour. When my sandwich finally arrived, it was missing the sink and tomato—I just got bread and cheese. Waiting for an hour only to receive that was very frustrating. Overall, it left a bad taste in my mouth.
The empanadas are fantastic; I recommend sticking with the classics, as the more inventive options are not as impressive. I used to love their Cuban sandwich, but my recent experience with the sandwiches was disappointing—they tasted mostly like ketchup. For now, I'll be sticking to the empanadas in this price range. Good food. Large portions, don't get greedy. My husband ordered the Big Papi empanada but wanted his own because he wasn't sure how big they were. It was the size of his head. Then ordered a couple more. It was too much! All delicious and affordable.
It’s evident that they are in the process of launching the new restaurant. I hope that during my next visit, I won’t miss any essential features like the menu and seating arrangements.
The pork in the Cuban sandwich was slightly dry, but overall I would still order it again. There was a bit of a wait for the takeout, around 30 minutes.
The empanadas at this restaurant are amazing. I especially enjoyed the beef and chicken with cheese and corn filling. They were incredibly tasty. Book a table now
