Ordered chicken parmigiana and a small white pizza for delivery. Unfortunately, everything was very mediocre. The delivery time was updated about half an hour after I placed my order in the Slice app to be a half hour later than originally estimated. When the food arrived at the adjusted, later estimated time, the delivery person left it on the floor outside even though I never asked for that. Didn't even knock on my door to let me know so that I'd go out to get the food. I only knew because I heard the elevator. The pizza was cold and ok, but kind of bland. The chicken parm and spaghetti were hot at least, but not great. The chicken wasn't very flavorful; the spaghetti was extremely bland....
As an Italian, I have to say this is the worst and most inauthentic Italian restaurant I've ever visited. Upon entering, I was simply told to "go" when I asked to be seated. The place was dirty and rundown, with no music playing, and the staff were unprofessional and downright rude. I was served a loaf of stale bread, and when I ordered the white zuppa di cozze as an appetizer, it was absolutely terrible—it tasted like dirty water with a hint of cheap wine. They boast about having a good wine selection, yet when I asked for a glass of red wine, I was offered Carlos Rossi, which is available for half the price of a bottle. I was so disappointed that I decided not to order an entrée and instead walked across the street to Trattoria Sorento. This establishment feels more like a pizza joint that has a few extra dishes on the menu that they don't actually prepare well.
Best customer service in all of Bethesda after I sent my mother a dinner, although unfortunately the squirrels and birds got to it before she did, and so they tore it up through it all around. It was very interesting. She called the restaurant and explain the situation and nip less than the owner son delivered the replacement meals hot, beautiful wonderful I can not express how important this was to me. They did a great job at customer service with excellent meal go for it. The fresh whole fish is delicious the pasta al dente, and the cannoli is perfect.

good food, great wine and great friends. make this restaurant fun but our weight stuff, Luiz, made the evening smooth-flowing and much happiness around the table. The food here is great and I'm so glad I was taking care of at this delicious Italian restaurant. I will return because I can get authentic food that tastes great and a good location with excellent and professional waitstaff.Parking: Parking garage is blocks away. Road was closed for the evening I went, which obviated on street paid parking for the dinner hours.
I came to the Pines of Rome quite often with my family as a kid but it has been about 10-12 years since my last meal here (old location). But let me tell you what, the quality has NOT changed. I was so excited to go with some cousins and a few days later I’m still thinking about it.This has to be a top contender for Italian cuisine in the DMV area. Very simple atmosphere but top notch! Our appetizers were killer and the eggplant parm was rockin!Thank you for keeping up your quality and product. I wish to be back soon!
The food is straightforward, genuine, and delicious. The prices are reasonable, and the staff is friendly with quick service. It tends to get busy on Friday nights and weekends. I chose a salad as my side instead of the spaghetti with shrimp marinara from the menu. As for parking, there are a couple of MoCo parking garages nearby, and weekend parking is free.
Mr Marco has been in business for the last 40 years, and he still runs the place under his strict supervision; as a result derive is fast, and food is delicious!You should try the white fontina cheese pizza, no other place makes it like the Latino guys there

Couldn't say enough good things. Food was just like eating grandma's. Portions were sizeable and prices were reasonable. And that white pizza..... I Will definitely be back! Service was personable and very efficient. Great little find!
