I witnessed a server mixing sauce in a pot with his bare hands. It appears that many here are not familiar with proper food handling procedures. Customers who complain about their treatment are met with more mistreatment. Despite this, the Italian ambiance adds to the experience, with delicious pizza and a laid-back atmosphere. Pino, the owner, is an older man who does not have time for frivolous games; he is either all business or absent altogether.
This restaurant is fantastic for delicious New Yorker-style pizza. The crust is outstanding, perfectly foldable just like a good NY slice should be, and pairs well with the sauce and blend of cheeses. I tried the muffaletta pizza, which had a mild but flavorful giardiniera that added a great touch to the salami and other savory toppings. The staff was very friendly and I can't wait to come back for more tasty pizzas.
I am perplexed by this restaurant. The pizza used to be delicious and the service was excellent. However, now it takes 2.5 hours to receive your pizza, and it's made incorrectly. Additionally, the customer service when calling is extremely poor. This experience is truly disappointing.
Oh my god what authentic New York experience. If you can?t handle a good ribbing it?s not for you. The pizza was amazing. The owner ?chef?s kiss? was hilarious. I loved how he ribbed a group of youths. I never laughed so hard. Dinner and a show 5/5 Book a table now
