I was really looking forward to trying Peruvian food, but my experience at this restaurant was quite disappointing. The first red flag was the long wait we had. When the food finally arrived, several of our orders were missing and came about 10 minutes later than the first dishes. We were also excited to enjoy the live music that night, but the server was overly pushy about getting us to pay the bill. We ended up spending around $250, and they added a large gratuity without our consent. I even asked if they wanted us to leave, and the server said we could stay only if we ordered more; otherwise, we needed to clear our table. The entire experience was very unpleasant, and I won’t be returning...
The food here is truly outstanding! We tried the ceviche, fried rice, and whole snapper, and each dish was expertly prepared and served in generous portions. Although the prices were somewhat high, if we had known that the serving sizes were ample for four people, we would have opted to share a dish instead. The service was a bit slow, and we had to wait a while before receiving our orders. Additionally, they charged for the water, and the house wine was on the expensive side too. All in all, it’s a fantastic restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere and delicious food!
I am of Cuban and Peruvian descent and hail from Chicago. Recently, I had a craving for Peruvian cuisine, and my host suggested Pisco Restaurant Bar. I ordered the Papa a la Huancaina and the Lomo Saltado, and both dishes were fantastic, bringing back fond memories of my childhood and the family meals we used to have on Sundays. Our server, Dalys, was very attentive and made sure our food arrived promptly. Her warm personality and respectful demeanor truly enhanced our dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant!
The seafood truly hit the spot for me. Although octopus is often categorized with fish, it stands out on its own. The chicken was delicious, and the beef was cooked to perfection. Thankfully, there were no dull bologna sandwiches on the menu. The staff delivered excellent service in both languages, and their credit card machines accommodated bilingual use. The surprisingly spacious restrooms were an added bonus. Plus, there's convenient parking available in a nearby lot.

I consistently order the "mixed ceviche" from this restaurant through Uber Eats. I'm quite particular when it comes to seafood; even the faintest fishy odor can be a deal-breaker for me, but this place has never disappointed! I've been ordering from them for about two years now, and the seafood always arrives fresh and absolutely delicious. The portions are also very generous!
The food was tasty. We typically order online, but this time we visited in person on a Friday night. It seemed like they were hosting karaoke, and at night the place definitely has a nightclub vibe. The drinks were disappointing, so I’d probably come here just for the food.
The server was absent for about 30 minutes, and she had earbuds in, which made it difficult for her to hear my order. The atmosphere was quite loud during lunch. When I requested hot sauce for my soup, she mistakenly brought me salsa instead.
This amazing Peruvian-Chinese fusion restaurant exceeded my expectations. Maria, my bartender, was fantastic—quick and friendly. The portion sizes are generous, and the food is incredibly delicious. I definitely plan to return!
