So glad to have a couple decent restaurant options in OL. I've been a fan of Donisi from the beginning, and I order at least once a month. Be aware it's all thin crust, and it does cool very quickly but that's nothing you can't remedy at home (any timeI order pizza from anywhere, the first thing I do is set my oven to about 150 so I can give it a little extra when it gets tome, or if I plan not to eat right away). But, their ingredients are top notch. The meatball, the Greek style, the OL supreme andthe Hawaii 502 are some of my favorites, but the chef's choice is usually fantastic as well. Even the salads are good for apizza place. Big fan.
While I love a thin crispy NY style slice ? and the pizza here is decidedly that ? there is something lacking about the dough to me. It can be very dry/chalky and just a little out of step with what I?d consider good pizza. However, it can be decent in apinch and I love having a little corner pizzeria in the neighborhood. The location here just has the right vibe reminding me ofa legit NJ/NY pizzeria every time I pass by. I just wish the product were a little closer to the real thing.
I was craving pizza and wanted to try a local spot. Ordering online was simple and convenient. I appreciated the wide selection of toppings, and their signature creations looked delicious. The pizza was ready quickly. The crust was Louisville-style, a type of thin crust, which I enjoyed. The sauce was flavorful, and the toppings were fresh. The garlic butter was genuine and perfect for dipping the crust. Overall, I was very pleased with the pizza and highly recommend Pizza Donisi.
If you're looking for good pizza in louisville it's easy to get lost among the seemingly endless array of options but it really doesn't get much better around here than Pizza Donisi. I have eaten here dozens of times and the food is extremely consistent (a quality that some places don't seem to understand) as well as delicious. I can't reccomend the BBQ chicken pizza enough which in my opinion might be the best BBQ chicken pizza I've ever had.

Vegan pizza was delicious. I decided to walk in to order and really didn’t know what the price was or anything, I just saw they had vegan options online. The girl broke it down for me, explained things to me, and fixed this pizza just right. It was delicious. I got the 14” which cost like $45 after a 20% tip. It was higher than I thought but it was so good. I will be back sometime to try the vegan meatball sub
I was impressed by their delicious Calzone. This restaurant is open later than any other in the downtown area, so my friends and I decided to ride our scooters here at 1am. It was definitely worth the 13-minute ride! I recommend trying it for yourself. Although it may be a bit expensive, I believe it is worth it.
Ordered the Impossible Supreme pizza from them and it. Was. Delicious! Thin crust pizza. Shared a 16 with 2 other people. Also got the zucchini sticks (a MUST!! and the cannoli (iconic . Perfect amount of food for 3. Would recommended going here! Staffwork so hard and are so accommodating
Excellent pizza but the Jerk wings were the star of the show for me. This was hands down the best jerk sauce I have had which beats a previous favorite in Portland, OR. The wings were a nice size, juicy, tender and a perfect crisp texture.
