My husband and I visited this restaurant before heading to the cinema in the middle of the week. I had expected it to be quiet, so I booked a table an hour before our movie, but when we arrived, it was packed! I asked the gentleman who greeted us if we could be in and out within an hour, and he was very accommodating and friendly. On a windy and rainy day, we had trouble getting into the restaurant because the doors were stuck shut. Despite this amusing mishap, we and other customers were eventually able to enter. We were seated promptly, but then had to wait a long time for our drinks order to be taken. Two tables that arrived after us had their drinks and food orders taken before us. My wife had to ask a staff member (who turned out to be the deputy manager) to take our order, which was promptly sorted. While we were eating, we overheard the manager giving a deserved scolding to the staff member who was supposed to be looking after our table. We walked in and asked if they did walk ins, she said yes 15 minute wait. We got there at 6:10pm. We had a film booked at the cinema for 7:30pm. Took our order, 40 minutes had gone by, we noticed everyone else had their food delivered. We waited another 30 minutes and so I called a girl over, said we we’re going to be late and she said she’d check to see if our food was in the oven, came back and said “so sorry, not sure how it’s happened but your order has been misplaced, it will need to be put back in again”!!!! The food probably would of been nice, place looked clean but I think the customer service in there is what sadly ruins this business!
High quality, fast lunch. Salad and sides delicious! Perfect service. Really surprised how good it was. Feels like this branch has excellent management and great staff. Maybe that’s what sets it apart from the other sub par branches. I’ve had some disappointing experiences at other branches but would now travel out of my area to visit this one. Keep doing what you’re doing. This is why pizza express became popular in the first place. Hope other branches can learn from this one so the brand survives!!

The dining experience at this restaurant was enjoyable until after we finished our meal. When I went to the restroom, I had to pass by the pizza dough that was being left out to prove, but it was infested with flies. I counted 4 flies the first time I passed by, and 3 on my way back. The dough was left uncovered and exposed. When I brought this to the attention of the waiter, he gave me a dismissive look, as if I were being unreasonable.
It seems having two very long tables of screaming kids and their selfish parents sitting on separate tables far away from their kids is ok. Kids throwing napkins etc and behaving like animals and the staff too afraid to say that was not ok to the parents. Couldn’t hear myself think and the service was slow. The food arrived cold. Our table was so close to the next we might as well have shared our seating. I wouldn’t ever come back.
Visited for our daughters birthday, was meant to be with her friends but unfortunately plans changed at the last minute. I honestly cannot express how amazing 'Bobby ' and our server were with us and our daughter. The food was great but the service really was the best we have ever received. I really cannot reccomend them enough. Thank you.
Fantastic service especially from Ash to equally match the lovely food we ordered. We both had a very pleasant and relaxed lunch. Nothing was too much trouble for Ash who served us. Why can't all restuarants be like this. Thanks a lot, we will definitely be back.
