Just moved to the area and thought we would give this place a try. The pizza was delicious and was a nice change from the oily bases other pizza places can sometimes serve up. However, the last three times I have placed an order, they have forgotten one of the pizzas I ordered each time. I have never ordered more than 3 pizzas in a single order for our family so to have forgotten to make a pizza on each of the last 3 occasions is quite poor. I ordered pizza the other week and was excited for it to come but was left disappointed. The pizza is not what it used to be, the salami had change to what felt like a cheaper topping, toppings minimal and a soggy base. I left some honest feedback on Ubereats (where I ordered it from) not expecting any response let alone the rude unprofessional one I received. I don't think it's fair nor do I appreciate being shamed for using Ubereats and accused of not supporting local by doing so. Pizza's were average, average price was $22 per pizza and not terribly large either, cocktails $14 each. This place is small and gets very noisey and booked out. Don't know what all the fuss is about, the pizza's were average with very thin bases and a variety of unusual toppings. We have the Beef cheeks pizza which was somewhat dry, the sausage and coleslaw was actually very nice. We also had the mushroom pizza which was just O.k and my daughter had the garlic prawn pizza at $26 some what disappointing. 6 pizzas, 2 beers, 2 spritz, and 2 coffees and 1 bottle sparkling water, total $208.00. I attended this Hawthorn East abode in good, expectant faith in early December and while perusing the menu, was taken aback by an apparent aloofness by the owner to staff and patrons.. I soon left, not wanting to spend my hard earned in an establishment that does not truly value its staff and which needs a more friendly business model to all who visit Pizza Religion.

We booked this restaurant for an end of season team function with kids. We were put in the covered space out the back which was good as the kids were noisy. Delicious and perfectly cooked pizzas. You will not get better pizza anywhere else. Fantastic flavours. Great house beer. Even the desserts (Gundowring ice cream from the Victorian high plains) are sensational.
I have so many food intolerances that I find it hard to ever eat out, but Pizza Religion always cater to my food issues, and best of all....the pizzas are amazing!! Definitely recommend giving them a go ????
Went with a group and tried a few pizza selections - all were good, especially the pulled beef cheek which was different. Also the calamari entrees were excellent.
