Sucks that this is really the only gym in the Lake Orion area, because the owner of this franchise must be a penny pincher. Why in the world would a PF close at 10pm on the weekends. When most people have the time to workout only on the weekends. If there 's a slight power outage best believe this owner will shut the whole place down, cause he 's still getting memberships paying the bills. So any hour or opportunity this place has to close its doors, they will take it! Go back to 24/7 like all the other locations, this gym is wayyyy too busy to not be open all the time... (went up there today to get a workout in, and it 's closed due to a power outage while everywhere else has power...
I highly recommend Planet Fitness in Lake Orion, Michigan, if you're looking for a great place to work out. It's an awesome spot where you can exercise, have fun, and build strength. The staff treats you like family and are incredibly friendly. The equipment is top-notch, and the entire facility is clean and well-maintained. They also have trainers available who are willing to dedicate their time to help you with your fitness goals. Honestly, there isn’t much negative I can say about this gym. It’s a fantastic place, and I think you'll have an amazing experience during your next visit to Planet Fitness in Lake Orion, Michigan.
One of the cleanest gyms i've been to in a while. I use to go to LA fitness but was sick of how exclusive it felt and also the locker rooms were plain dirty along with the equipment. Definitely prefer this planet fitness over that gym any day. The staff is pretty cool too. I'm always greeted warmly and when I leave they make an active effort to say goodbye. Also not too crowded. Wish it was 24 hours all week long because of my work schedule but i get why it's not.

Big blonde girl with glasses and short hair. That woman's racist and has an arrogant attitude. What is she even doing there? All the other staff are nice and polite, except her. I know why, she's racist. And self-entitled. Must think she's gonna get a medal of honor for being hella rude.
The female manager is horrible and should not be dealing with the public. The way she spoke to me in front of everyone and humiliating me was so no professional. I have spoke to all my family about this this and everyone is dropping their membership.
I only visit during the quieter hours, so I can't comment on the busy times. However, everything has always seemed to be in excellent condition whenever I've been there.
i miss is being 24 hours 7 days, but besides that it’s normally pretty clean but sometimes the staff is nowhere to be found Book a table now
I only go during the least busy hours so I can't speak for the rush. Everything's always looked tip top shape to me.
