First and last time here I will drive to the Hoboken location out my way just for better service . I ordered online it only allows you to remove two items at the end it specifies if you want to add special instructions and I put no honey no kiwi, sure enough my bowl had both I went in nice and explained the girl had a face from the 1st time I went in nevertheless she was texting on her phone when I got there, they kept talking about the bowl to each other and said it didn't say to remove that and I said yes look at the paper is says right there no kiwi no honey.. Forget the 1 star reviews, lol. The staff was courteous and even apologized because I had to wait a minute or two before my order could be taken. So polite! I ordered a Fall Exclusive bowl. I don’t even know what it’s called but it SLAPPED. It had oats, green apples, and other yummy in my tummy ingredients. I’m literally inhaling it right now as I write this review. Check out the photo. A super sweet staff member named Kylo put together my bowl and LOOK AT HOW THE BANANA IS FEATHERED. This bowl is made with love. I’ll be back to try every menu item that has a banana in it. I love bananas as much as I love this Playa Bowl location.
I love Playa Bowls. However, it's always a hit or miss, depending on who makes it. I don't like when I get a smoothie and I expect it to be a certain way and I'm disappointed as they aren't cheap. Watery smoothies and bowl bases are gross. Another thing I don't like about this location is the parking. They're now making you pay about $1.50 for a time frame or a trip that's gonna take 10 minutes. For that reason, I'll most likely not be going to this location unless I REALLY want a smoothie or bowl and don't want to go anywhere else.
The restaurant is usually fantastic, stays open late, and has friendly staff. However, one of the servers, a short girl with black hair, was rude and complained about being tired 2 hours before closing. I understand the challenges of working in the food industry, but her attitude was unacceptable. We were all tired, but basic courtesy, such as greeting customers with a simple hello, should be expected.

Update your hours online . especially if you 're not open till midnight as advertised. Sunday Wednesday they close at 10pm. Not midnight Thursday Saturday they close at midnight Transparency in your hours of operation is essential. Better than having customers walk in at 10:05 for the workers to be like haha sorry we 're closed
Service was quick, the worker who tended to my order was attentive and came up right away. However when I received my order there was a stingy amount inside and looked like it was put together sloppy and carelessly.
I always order the Nutella bowl with strawberries and bananas at this restaurant because it is consistently delicious. The service is fast, but they tend to get busy, so I recommend ordering ahead on their website.
Lisa is the absolute best! Best bowls, amazing customer service. I go there l pretty much every night and consistency is very important to me and i get the same experience every time! 5 stars!!!!’

My kids and I love the bowls…. Never seem to disappoint… we’ve tried several different locations and my daughter has been collecting the stickers every time we go.
What a fantastic spot with quick service! The Nutella bowl is always a winner!
