This restaurant has two locations, and I usually visit the one on State Street next to the laundromat. I first tried it because my partner's family likes it, but I must admit I've had better experiences at other places. Occasionally, the marinades on the meat can taste quite sour, almost like old meat. I usually order three items from their menu that consistently taste good: the torta de pollo milanesa, the quesobirria, and the tacos de carne. One piece of advice: be sure to place your order well in advance, as they often take a long time to prepare them.
I thoroughly recommend this restaurant! The owner greeted us with warmth and took the time to explain the dishes and their ingredients. The portion sizes were perfect, and the service was outstanding. The food was incredibly delicious, and I can’t wait to come back for more of the authentic flavors.
Our food arrived a half hour late and cold. We asked the hamburger have pickles and ketchup only. It had everything but pickles and ketchup on it. We asked my daughters tacos only have cheese and sauce. They were covered in everything and she's refusing toeat them so waste of money.
This is the second location of Garibaldi 1 on Smith Street, and everything is just as fantastic as the original spot. The food is delectable, the prices are reasonable, and there are exciting new dishes to explore! The handmade corn tortillas are particularly delicious!

This is undoubtedly the best taco spot in Amboy! The new location is incredibly convenient, especially with the hassle-free parking. The birria tacos are simply delicious—wow!
They had good service but the food was mediocre.. I was expecting real deal Mexican food not more on the tex-mex side
