who understands a good Greek restaurant a local with column imitations, Sirtaki music and huge meat plate, is wrong in plokami. the local is designed as I know it from Greece: sober wood furniture with little buckling taste, but free view of the open kitchen. and also what comes from the kitchen is original Greek. not sprouts with grilled meat, but fresh fish, tasty appetizers, lamb, leber and of course gyros. the portions are large enough to be filled, but do not beat one. located a bit away from the main street, the plokami with its large outdoor terrace is in a residential settlement. next to the map, with focus on fish and meat, there is additionally a plaque-made day dishes. my choice fell on the grill plate with potatoes and instead of herb salad a portion zaziki. the four types of meat were all freshly prepared and juicy. we visited plokami during a business trip. this is a simple, unpretentious restaurant that serves simple, tasty eating with great service. we were greeted, got English menus and let us explain the menu. I had the lamb and it was very tasty, well cooked and with many tasty kartoffels. I can also recommend the local beer. delicious!
the food is freshly prepared before the eyes of the guests. everything is original Greek to mineral water. we have eaten very well, the portions were rich. only the supplement, spinach and kartoffels were at first a little too much and second a little too little cooked. very good Greek food with very friendly Greek service. daily changing dishes mixed with traditional dishes. the foods are fresh, so it can of course also be that one or the other is out. but that's better than any frozen food.
