I'm giving two stars because the sushi I ordered here was quite good I got the spicy crab roll and another with salmon and fish eggs for my husband, which we enjoyed. I had never had tempura in restaurant quality and was exited to try it as well as soft shell crab app. The tempura was horribly greasy and the shrimp inside was overcooked, although overall it had good flavor. It's been a long time since I stepped into this place, and the 1st time since new owner took over years ago. Menu had similar items as everywhere else, but small details were not done too well. Shiki was closed so we decided to give the Plum a try. I was served a salad that looked like it was a month old. It was limp, discolored, rotting and nasty. I was offered another to replace it..I declined. The salad made me hyper nervous about the fish quality. Actually the sushi and sashimi were good. The cuts were a bit small and the wasabi on the sashimi was a bit heavy. The fish seemed fresh. The salmon was good. The white tuna was somewhat flavorless. We'll wait for Shiki to reopen.

mediocre and a bit overpriced. i eat here probably once a month solely because it's in walking distance and it still tastes good enough. probably not worth patronizing if you don't have the convenience factor
Food was very fresh. Great sushi! Also had dumplings and tempura which were awesome! Only issue was having things picked up quick, so need to watch sauces etc. if you want to keep using them.
Spectacular fish!! Their salmon in particular might be the best I've ever tasted! But often my preparation requests (which are always just reductions or omissions) are often ignored.
