This is a gorgeous family pub, with delicious, affordable meals. We live locally, and couldn't be bothered cooking on a Saturday night, so decided to head down for dinner. We just walked right in with no booking, were served our drinks immediately and put in a great spot, in the cozy surroundings you want on a cold winters night. My husband ordered the combo stir fry with prawns, chicken, and cashews and absolutely loved it. It was beautifully presented, although I was too engrossed in my own meal to remember to take a picture. I opted for the beef schnitzel with mushroom gravy and was thoroughly satisfied. The schnitzel was cooked to perfection, and the mushroom sauce was creamy and flavorful, with plenty of real mushrooms. The highlight, however, was the chips - they were soft on the inside, crispy on the outside, and seasoned perfectly. I could have easily eaten a whole bowl of them!

The staff is always friendly at this restaurant. With new ownership comes a new menu, although I do miss the front bar specials. The pricing at the front bar is unbeatable and you can still dine outside if you take your buzzer. The location is great and the food is always delicious.
Food was nice. Salad bar was pretty good and the staff were friendly. Food didn't take long either. Has all the pub food usuals with some good specials. Kid friendly environment with seating inside or out, great on a warm night. Check it out.

Dined here with a friend on a very busy night with one chef down. I had the salmon, which was idealy cooked and my friend had chicken breast also nicely done. Fantastic vegie selection and good friendly service.
Had a quiet couple of beers on a Tuesday evening. Not many people around atmosphere naturally subdued. Staff very friendly and accommodating, very clean and tidy premises. Can highly recommend this place?
One of my favourite places to go for tee with family while in area, great friendly staff and food is good. Can get busy at times so best to book a table especially if your a larger group.

Nice place to have lunch on a public holiday long weekend. Food and choice of drinks are good. The only comment is that we didn't receive our coffees but got a refund for them.
The front bar staff are friendly, the Schnitzels are the best! Very affordable front bar meal and they do all day dinning! Stop in see for yourself :-)
