The food was DELICIOUS.....no picture, forgot, as it looked too fabulous to wait. I ordered the daily special Shrimp Gnocchi. The added twist was the addition of squid ink gnocchi mixed with traditional ones along with asparagus bathed in a creamy buttery sauce. The serving portions are generous reasonably priced. The table next to me ordered Cioppino. The couple gave it rave reviews too.....HUGE bowl fill with fresh seafood. The menu is mainly seafood. The seafood is fresh. There are a few non-seafood vegetarian items. If you are not a seafood eater, you are missing out.The restaurant is small and tables are very close together, which not a negative criticism. In fact, it adds a homeiness to...

The food here is outstanding as well as the people. We ate outside but they have heaters so it wasn’t too cold. Oyster Po Boy, mussels, clam linguini. I had the linguini and it was really one of the best pastas I’ve ever had. I think because it was the broth, packed with so much savory flavor. Tons of quality clams, the toasted garlic bread soaking up the broth was bomb. You could tell their table bread was freshly made as well. At the table next to us (i think the owner) brought out a fresh dead fish with his fingers to show his catch for the Branzino he was going to cook for them.I would go here again and again. Prices are reasonable for seafood pasta and the amount you get, quality is top...

Incredible place, outstanding food, quality, amount, flavors, atmosphere...we felt like in a top European Island. The best fish in the US and Franky the owner provide great recommendations. Finally, very cheap place, it is half or less of the price of any other SF restaurant.Kid-friendliness: The owner has several kids and grant kids and he knows how to deal with kids and accommodate large families

The food here is fantastic, some of the best Italian I’ve had. Especially the Rockefeller oysters, are out of this world good! The portion sizes are great! And the pasta is handmade and fresh, you can tell. The chef is a real sweetheart, chatting amiably with all guests and is happy to give take reccos. Highly reccomend for a nice dinner! This was an absolute rip-off! I paid $30 for shrimp scampi that consisted of four shrimp floating in a watery chicken broth with some leftover vegetables. Honestly, people in homeless shelters eat better than this! Just so you know, this is not an Italian-run establishment despite what the name might suggest.

Unbelievably good Italian seafood! The owner was a riot with his stories and descriptions of the food. Really generous wine pours and we all enjoyed the food greatly. Also a great value, four dinners and drinks for $150. If I lived in downtown SF, I'd be there at least once a week. Highly recommended!

Frank and his family are extremely friendly and welcoming. All the dishes are top-notch, and the fish is always fresh, displayed right at the entrance of the restaurant. I will definitely keep coming back whenever I'm in San Francisco. I particularly enjoyed the crab carbonara.

SO GOOD. We ordered fresh halibut cooked with some garlic, lemon, and capers. It came so delicious with potatoes, polenta and vegetables that we were literally sopped up the plate juice with the yummy bread. Can’t wait to return. Excellent service. The Chef is amazing! Book a table now

The Cioppino alone is worth the visit! It was a great value—a huge, hearty stew perfect for two, filled with crab, scallops, prawns, fish, squid, mussels, and clams. A seafood lover's paradise!
