Went to this restaurant on a Sunday night when little else was available in town. We sat inside as it was a little chilly outside. Both the outside seating across the street and the inside had plenty of open seats so it didn‘t appear to...be overly busy. My first question was „Can we sit anywhere?“ (Coming from America, we don‘t just take an open seat but wait for the staff to tell us where to sit The waitress, who I suspect might also have been the owner, replied with attitude „We’ll, anyplace that isn‘t already taken.“ It only got worse from there. She was so rude I would describe her as openly hostile. She was the only one serving and taking orders both inside and outside, so I‘m sure she...

We picked this place to eat as it was Sunday evening and it was next to our hotel. It looked like a nice cosy local corner restaurant. Wrong. The hostess/waitress was not friendly. A German couple kindly offered to translate the menu for us, and...began to run through the specials menu, when the waitress came over and took it from them. She spoke very little English and grumpily did her best to sell us the most expensive dishes on the main menu, ignoring our requests to explain the handwritten daily specials menu. She brought fizzy water instead of still (not that serious I know). She also brought me the wrong main dish I ordered pork but she brought a fish dish which consisted of a huge pil...

After arriving in Quedlinburg we stumbled across this restaurant while looking for a place to eat. The restaurant has a nice terrace, but unfortunately it was crowded (read: full) at that specific time. The inside looked vintage (which I happen to like) and we sat...down in a cozy corner. The service was friendly. We both ordered Schnitzels. One with Collyflower and one with pfifferling (rare) mushrooms. Unfortunately, while the potatoes, collyflower and mushrooms were delicious, both of the schnitzels were too dry for our taste. To the restaurants defense..... it was really busy that night, so it was probably an incident. Hence the still very decent score.

..but we found a bit of dog poo under our table. We were sitting outside on the terrace with gravel on the ground and we suppose a cat or a dog used that place. It was hidden under the gravel and when we discovered it...and told the waitress, she should have done something about it but she just apologized and left it where it was.
