Sunday lunch did not disappoint! The share style menu is sensibly short, we enjoyed chicken, rabbit and lamb all with a clearly Moroccan theme. I thought the chicken was best of all. The wine list is very interesting but perhaps marked up too high. Service was friendly and reasonable. Just went tonight with a group of friends expecting a good evening as I have eaten here before & have enjoyed the place. New enlarged venue , very nice. Chose the feed us menu. Very ordinary. Nice oysters ( not hard ) followed by an appealing scallop & cuttlefish dish with a fine sauce that begged for a piece of bread to soak it up. Too hard for the lovely little guy in the brown jump suit who unfortunately looked after our table. Worst still , the staff they do have are rude and more interested in having a yak with their trendy dude buddies . ...... yep got a table for lunch dead on 12nn , once seated get the menu , with a , oh by the way , you can only order off the pizza menu till 12:30 ....... then the dude mates take centre stage and there is no table service for the next 20 minutes . We have been here several times but it was recently extended adding more indoor seating. We love this place, good food - a different style of menu - but good food. We ordered a range of the flatbreads and tasting plates. It was great to be able try the diversity that the kitchen at Propeller offers. The cocktails are pretty interesting too and well worth a try - just make sure you Uber or have a designated driver. They have a few beers on tap - nothing mind blowing but decent. Propeller is a cool new space with great staff, a good wine list and excellent food. Our party of 3 really enjoyed everything about our dinner there, and we'll certainly return. The menu is based around dishes which are intended to be shared, and every item that we chose was really interesting, creative and tasted great......even the brussel sprouts
We had a big family dinner group on a Sunday night - the food and service was excellent. Middle eastern style and lots of very tasty vegetarian - highly recommend Propeller.
I love this place. There is this one waitress, Polly, who is so awesome, she has a lovely smile and seems to be able to just manage any given situation flawlessly!
