Gorgeous venue but waited 45 minutes for a cup of tea today. Staff ignored us a number of times and when we complained they said to tell manager there should be more staff. We eventually ordered but they had no cake left (only 3pm). After another 15 minutes wait we gave up left. Definitely worth popping in for the roaring fire and sofas but take a thermos hip flask. Doubt anyone will notice.
We had a dreadful Sunday roast that they didn’t care about one jot. Didn’t bother to reply to my email complaint either. Ought to be outstanding sadly isn’t. ????
