It was a wonderful experience! The dining room was nicely appointed and the waiter was very attentive. That night there was a musician who played wonderful range of music. The menu featured three chef-inspired entrées and our table of six ordered all of them. The kitchen had no problem with slight changes and substitutions to some of the side dishes. We ended up sharing our entrées so that each had a chance to taste the all the offerings. We also shared a couple of desserts. The bread putting with whiskey sauce and slice of keylime pie were a perfect ending to the meal. The chef/owner has created a fine dining experience in the downtown district. Steak and farmers salad were excellent, sides were nothing special but good. Wine list was limited to Texas wines which limits quality.
We enjoyed the fresh food, including homemade pasta, relaxed atmosphere and great service. We look forward to returning.
