LAS PALMAS Italy captures the essence of Italy under a palm tree. From the moment you enter the restaurant, you are warmly welcomed by Salvatore and his brother, Franco, as if you were stepping into their home. Once seated, I felt as though I was part of a family gathering. I discovered that if you ask them for recommendations, they will serve you dishes that make you feel like one of their own. As an Italian, I often compare someone's cooking to that of my mother, and I can confidently say that this is the only place I’d take my mother out to dine. It's heartwarming to know there’s a place in Puerto Plata that I can truly call home—LAS PALMAS restaurant.
The worst place that I have gone to eat Spanish food atThe service was horrible there was not one person there that was nice the food was very bad my kids got sick. The place was not cleaned At all the only reason we eatThere was because I was dropping my daughter to college and we were in a hurry I will be reporting it to the department of health when I asked for the owner or manager no one knew anything and there was no one to help me do not there bad experience
I really enjoy this restaurant! The food is delicious, and the atmosphere is spacious and relaxing. What sets this Dominican restaurant apart from others is the diverse music they play. The staff is friendly and attentive to your needs. I've been there twice and had a great time. I felt compelled to share my wonderful experience! I’ll definitely be returning again and again. The food was bland. The woman serving the food wasn't very friendly. The person at the reguster was having a deep conversation with one of the waitresses. Didn't even say hello...Is there anything else I can get you. The prices are ridiculous. It's $8.00 for that small square tin of food and $12 for a small round pan that's considered a large. I had stewed chicken and it was tough. I work 2 blocks away. I go out for lunch 3 days a week and WILL NOT be back.

The food was ok but could only be because it was past midnight so it wasn't as fresh. The waitress was very kind and friendly Didn't get her name but would have given her credit for the service if I knew it, all I could say is she was young and told me she was from El Salvador.Food: 3/5
I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant. The service was outstanding, with staff who are knowledgeable about the menu and can clearly explain the dishes. The food was phenomenal and of very high quality!
The food was delicious, but charging $10 for two drumsticks with rice and beans seems excessive. This meal is more appropriately priced at around $7 to $8. I had to drop a star because of that.
Food is good, but the service could be better especially to customers that aren't Hispanic. We come to spend money so be nice to us, please.Food: 5/5
