Small town neighborhood deli in LA? You bet. My partner and I were driving through neighborhoods to get a feel for the area, and somehow, by a miracle, we found Pulciano's Deli tucked away in San Gabriel. The Sandwiches are flawless, but the knockout punch was the service and vibe. The interaction between the employees and customers was smooth, like best friends. I could tell that the employees know nearly everybody who walks through their door, and I thought that was awesome.
I saw an advertisement for this place recently and decided to stop by the next time I was passing through. I ordered a California Mafia sandwich and an egg salad sandwich to save for later. The egg sandwich was quite good; it's hard to go wrong with that. I really enjoyed the California Mafia—it had a nice amount of meat, just the right amount of sauce, and a perfectly toasted bun. The owner is very friendly as well, so I’ll definitely return the next time I’m in the area.
The vegetarian and three cheese sandwiches are amazing! They have a perfect blend of ingredients that make them fresh and flavorful. They also offer a kratom beverage that provides a nice energy boost, although you'll need to acclimate to the taste. A new flavor is being released this Thursday, and I'm really looking forward to trying it. I highly recommend this deli if you're in the mood for sandwiches, especially Italian ones! The staff is also very friendly!
Excellent sandwich and service. It's a bit of a drive from the office but worth it. I will definitely be going back. The bread has a nice crispy crust but soft inside. The meat and cheese was freshly sliced. Went with a very basic turkey and cheddar. I'm looking forward to trying a meatball sub and the mafia sub. Book a table now
I ordered the BLT, and it was delicious! They offer the option to add extra bacon, avocado, and/or cheese, and I recommend going with provolone. I'm definitely planning to return!
