Mohit crafted an entirely custom menu for me, including specialized appetizers to fit my wedding palate. My husband and I are both white, but absolutely LOVE Indian food (specifically Punjab's food! and knew we had to have a menu consisting of mostly North Indian food, with some added dishes that are friendlier to a less spice-loving palate, and he absolutely NAILED it. My family and I visited this restaurant for lunch and had one of the worst customer experiences in an Indian restaurant. If I could, I would give zero stars for the service. We initially wanted to order á la carte, but the manager was insistent on us trying the buffet. We explained that we were not very hungry and wanted something light, but he responded rudely by questioning why we even came if we weren't hungry. This is not the way to treat customers. Despite good food and ambiance, the way customers are treated is crucial. Overall, we were extremely disappointed.
We had our party here this week. Even though we had booked a party hall but we had more guests coming in. They accommodated very well. Everyone loved the food from snacks to full meals to drinks and desserts. The staff was amazing, specially one girl I don’t remember her name. She was making sure to meet all the demands and very fast. Very lovely woman. This whole experience made our daughter’s first birthday special. Thank you. And i really recommend this place if you are having a big gathering of people.
I recently ate at Punjab Indian Cuisine and it was a wonderful experience! The flavors of the dishes were genuine and flavorful, giving a real taste of Indian cuisine. Mohit and his entire staff are absolutely amazing to work with. Recently they catered many events for us and from start to finish it was the most outstanding experience. From live food stations, to authentic dishes from different parts of India, to sweets and mithai curated for our event, Mohit and his team did it all. Was told there will be more premium dishes during dinner or weekend to match higher prices paid, but none so far when visited. Overall, very little selection of food compared to other restaurants. You will get mostly chicken, half of which are very bland. Only dish that stood out was the tandoori chicken. Lack desserts and varieties of actual indian/punjabi food. Please work on improving the menu.
The service at this restaurant was quite slow when I visited on a Saturday afternoon. The food took a long time to arrive, but it was definitely worth the wait as the food was excellent. I still need to try out their buffet.
This is the best indian restaurant i have been to in Michigan. The buffet is fantastic!
