The cold dishes were outstanding, and the much-talked-about Peking duck was beautifully presented. The chef prepared the dish in front of us, and we had a wonderful time overall! On the downside, I wasn't impressed with the desserts. The pastries were dry and tasted like they had been made the night before—definitely not fresh out of the oven. Fortunately, the waitress was kind enough to offer us the duck pastries for free. The staff at the restaurant were all friendly and professional. I would recommend QJD for special occasions—give it a try, but keep in mind that the prices are quite high, so it might not be a place for regular visits.

This is likely the best Peking duck you’ll find anywhere. The menu is extensive, and although we ordered a variety of dishes instead of just the Peking duck and shrimp spring rolls, we still ended up taking some food home. The service was excellent; the waitstaff were quick, knowledgeable, and eager to help us find new things to try. It’s located just outside the Marriott Hotel, making it easy to find, and it’s definitely worth the visit.

Regardless of the inconsistent quality of the Quanjude cuisine, the service seems to depend on who places the order. While some guests receive reusable bags, we were handed plastic ones. I couldn't finish my meal and ended up packing three dishes to take home. If the meal costs 200, shouldn't it come with a reusable bag? Who is at fault here?

I visited this restaurant for a Chinese New Year dinner with family and friends. I really loved the red lanterns and the overall decor of the place. Although some people mentioned that the prices are a bit higher than average, I found the food to be delicious. I would highly recommend this location for a family dinner—definitely a 10/10! Renowned for its incredible Peking Duck, this restaurant is a must-visit for its beef with Maggi sauce and garlic shrimp. The only drawback is that it can be quite pricey. Reservations are essential since they only offer two seating times. This place comes highly recommended for special occasions!

This is definitely one of the best Chinese/Asian restaurants around. It’s great to find a traditional Chinese restaurant with a long history abroad. QJD has adapted many dishes to suit Canadian tastes. If you're unsure about what to order, don't hesitate to ask your server for recommendations!

The food and service here were both amazing. The dishes were tasty, well presented, and unique. Spent around $600 after tip for 6 people. Price is quite high but worth a try for the food and service.
