La Cotiniere has a lot of choice when it comes to restaurants, sadly we chose this one! We were probably seduced by the location, it has good views and the evening was promising a beautiful sunset, however the positives stop there.. We chose from the rather limited set menu, fish and mussels, with the order taken by a rather abrupt waitress, however.. When the food do arrive it was underwhelming to say the least; the mussels were possibly the worst I have ever had, no sauce no marinating that I could tell, mass production at it worst. The service was frantic and uncoordinated and you could tell that due to their location they didn’t have to try to get people through the door which in this ca...

We fancied pizza for a change, so decided on this restaurant as it was on the menu. Half full as we entered,we were shown to a table by a friendly waitress, who took our order for drinks. When they arrived we had chosen our meal,so we ordered a starter with pizzas to follow. The starter arrived shortly and was quite good. Meanwhile the restaurant got busier,we then waited 45 mins for our pizzas, which when they finally arrived were, burnt and not very good. What a shame after a good start, everyone was complaining about the wait, staff couldn't cope.Would not go again, spoilt our evening

This was so bad that I immediately opened an account on tripadvisor to leave a review! We thought that the only thing that had been cooked that day was the bread that they bought in. Arrived at 20h30 on 27/12 and should have gone to the Italian round the corner ! bland watery and cold, the accompaniment of baby potatoes and tomato Provençale were days old and tagliatelle bolognese were anaemic, old and watery... they shamefully murdered turbot and skate. Simply awful food and atmosphere. Now hoping that we are walking away with only a bad memory and not food poisoning too.

Although the team is making effort, the sensation is not that good. The service is too straight and the food not that good. The moules marinières (mussels) were overcooked and too salty, the seafood of the seafood pasta was average. A the flip side, the restaurant is very well decorated, with terrace and the view on the local harbour. The service is quick and the nice sound of a bell is ringing when food is ready in the kitchen. That 's not the place where you will impress your friends, but it 's good enough for a pit stop.
