This is actually a review for the Queens Tandoori in the Leicestershire Village of Broughton Astley. Delivery was late so most of the food was luke warm the prawn's in the main dish were over cooked and chewy the Tandoori chicken was overcooked hard and near cold and very dry, The Naan bread was undercooked and floury inside, The delivery fee somehow doubled to £5 for a 4 minute journey (same village) Staff seem nice enough but the service and food could be way better this is my second purchase and the first one was slightly more edible hence the reorder but felt very disappointed for the £36 that I splashed out to surprise my wife last night.
The Indian food at this restaurant is well-prepared. I started with a chicken appetizer that had a delicious chili pepper flavor. For my main course, I ordered a tandoori chicken dish that was also spiced with hot chili peppers. It was a bit too spicy, even for someone who enjoys spicy food. While I appreciate a good kick of heat, I found that the excessive capsicum overwhelmed the other flavors. However, the chicken was cooked perfectly and the naan bread was excellent. I was pleased to see a sign encouraging diners to bring their own wine and beer. Overall, my critiques are minor and I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
During my most recent visit, it took 1.5 hours for the food to arrive. However, when it did, I was disappointed to find that the poppadoms were burnt. Additionally, the lamb was tough and difficult to cut through, while the chicken was dry. I have never experienced such poor quality in all my years of eating curry. I will not be giving this restaurant a third chance to redeem themselves.

Well well where can I start from ....always a group well with my brothers, always say"yeh will go queens just to drink bottle and maybe chips as main dish....but we always go ham and go dv...best thing abit this place is they give bare onions....if u love ur onions u are in for a laugh....well best thing is they give u a doggy bag next day taste so lonely too place
The food at this restaurant was unfortunately bland and tasteless. They really need to improve their madras and vindaloo dishes. It's not just about spiciness, as most curry houses have no issue balancing heat and flavor. Unfortunately, this restaurant and its sister location both fall short in this aspect. It's a shame, as the dishes are nicely presented.
one of our favorite places for a curry. all their dishes are very tasty, all friendly staff and good service. we also often order as taking and again, great eating always done in good time. whatever you have ordered!
excellent service, the staff was warm and welcoming and the owner was very friendly. we ordered a lot of dressed, the morchi lamb was particularly delicious. recommend to return to this restaurant-will definitiw!

I have been waiting a long time for this curry house to open. It finally open the other week and the food was tasteless no flavour. I have better microwaveable Currys. They need to step there game.
Really enjoyed our food here tonight, it is my favourite curry house in Leicester by far!! Very generous portions and lovely staff to boot too.
