The restaurant was uncomfortably hot, especially with the temperature reaching 90 degrees outside. There was an unpleasant smell, reminiscent of spoiled meat. I ordered noodles but received rice instead. When I brought this to the staff's attention, the Asian gentleman placed the chicken back on the grill along with the rice. He eventually gave me new noodles but served the same chicken. If he can do this right in front of me, I can't help but wonder what might be happening in the kitchen out of sight. To top it off, he was rude. Honestly, I felt guilty feeding my children this poor-quality food, but they were so hungry. Overall, the food just wasn't good.
I've visited this restaurant several times since I live nearby, and the food has generally been decent. However, my last experience was not great. I ordered the chicken and shrimp hibachi, and the rice was disappointing—it didn't taste like proper fried rice and seemed old and reheated. The chicken was tough and overcooked, while the shrimp was just okay. I might consider trying the location in Old Bowie next time I want to eat there. I'm not sure if they are a franchise. On a positive note, the place was clean, and the cashier was friendly.
