Ordered 2 toasties and 2 drinks at lunchtime. I have never, ever been anywhere, that doesn't serve a side salad or garnish, on the plate. Today our cheese and tomato toasties, looked really unappetising with a little bowl of all white coleslaw.These were not cheap either. The table next to ours also commented ,as they had toasties too. I think this needs addressing, even if they offered 2 priced options ..with without salad
My husband asked for tea with lemon, but without milk. However, the tea that was served had milk in it and no lemon. We also shared a portion of chips. The sandwiches were tasty, but they were overfilled and fell apart easily. The total bill came to £20.85, which included a plate of sandwiches each, one portion of chips, a pot of tea, and a large cappuccino. Overall, it was a decent meal.
It was so nice to revisit Raffles after a time away due to Covid. Nothing changed still really clean, great service and good quality food. A couple of reviews mention cost but in my opinion the quality of the produce used speaks volumes. It is excellent. Freshly prepared and beautifully cooked. So nice to be back.
Just been in here for a light lunch it was lovely. Spotlessl clean, great service, nice food and good value. First time I've been in a coffee house that can actually make a good cup of tea. Costa, Nero Starbucks are you listening?
