I absolutely love this restaurant! Its exterior doesn’t hint at the beautiful and delicious experience you’ll find inside. You would never guess how charming and tasty this place is. It’s family-owned and operated, and I’ve introduced it to locals who had no idea it existed. Some even told me they didn’t know there was a restaurant next to Ace Hardware! They serve alcohol, have happy hour specials, and offer homemade agua de frutas, sometimes with a variety of fruits. Rajas con Crema is delicious! Their horchata is . I had 2 glasses. First off, the salsa and chips they give you is great. I got their rajas con crema dish. Felt like I had to given the name. It was really good. My friend got the carne en su jugo, and that was good. my other friend got the enchiladas with mole, which was also good. For dessert they recommended we get the vanilla ice cream with guava, which was delicious as well. Service was fantastic. Everyone was nice, and they checked in on us plenty but weren't there too often. It was the perfect amount. I can't wait to come back!
The location may not be perfect for the level of luxury and ambiance you experience here. It’s a charming and romantic restaurant with a touch of sophistication. The real roses on each table truly enhance the intimate atmosphere. The menu features a delightful blend of Mexican and Italian cuisine. I initially worried that the combination of flavors might dilute the taste, as is often the case in many restaurants. However, both the Mexican and Italian dishes are absolutely outstanding! This place is a definite must-visit!
Rajas Con Crema is an exquisite and refined restaurant that offers remarkable cuisine along with exceptional service and hospitality. The interior of the restaurant is truly stunning and fulfills the owner's vision of creating a dining experience so exceptional that guests momentarily forget they are in a small corner of Los Angeles. Wow! The homemade food here is truly amazing. This restaurant is fantastic—the flavors are vibrant, and the staff is exceptionally friendly. We were celebrating my dad's 70th birthday, and my son was so excited that he couldn't sit still, but the staff graciously took him to see the kitchen, which really helped keep him occupied. This place is a true hidden gem! As someone from Mexico, it reminded me of the wonderful meals my grandma used to make.
Rajas con Crema is a gem in Maywood. It?s the cutest cozy restaurant. For the past few years I?ve come here often for lunch and never once was disappointed by the quality of food or service. The food is delicious, and they have daily lunch specials. Theyalso have the best margaritas in all of LA, my favorites are the tamarind and mango margaritas, fresh delicious. The best partof coming here is supporting a great small family owned business.
Highly recommend this restaurant. Food is delicious. Food is fresh and taste great. My daughter is very picky with food and she LOVED the Cajun pasta. My husband had the Rib eye steak and he says it is easily the top 3 best steak he's ever had. The Owners are great very friendly and welcoming. All staff is very attentive, professional and friendly. Restaurant is clean and very nice. We are new loyal customers and will return many times.
I’ve found my new favorite restaurant! The service was outstanding and incredibly welcoming. The food was bursting with flavor and simply delicious. Our group of six ordered steak, birria tacos, chicken in mole, chicken enchiladas, and shrimp tacos, and everyone was thoroughly satisfied. They even played "Las Mañanitas" for us as we celebrated a birthday. We will definitely be coming back!

Another amazing restaurant to try is Rajas Con Crema. My go-to dish there is the Rajas Con Pollo—it's simply delectable! Whenever I'm in the area, I always make it a point to visit. I travel a lot for work, which means I get to eat out often, but it’s not every day that I find a place that makes me want to come back on my days off like this delightful spot does.
The food was delightful and the service was outstanding. I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch; we just arrived and headed up to grab our meals.
