Nice view but poor quality food. My sons pizza was burnt on the bottom, my daughters pollo pasta looked like a microwave ping dish… as did my bland chilli king prawn risotto which looked more like tomato soup with rice in. The olives and feta were pitted tinned olives, not deli style I had expected and the garlic bread with cheese was a couple of slices of bread with melted cheese on. My wife said her pasta meal was nice hence the two stars, but £76 for 3 pasta dishes a pizza and couple of drinks I thought very steep. Such a shame these beautiful venues in plymouth that rely on the regulars and feel like they don’t need to invest to better the venue. The toilets are absolutely disgusting and so small it’s insulting. They have plenty of room and money to make them bigger. I am pregnant and couldn’t use it because the door opens inwards which touches the toilet and you touch the sink as you come out. God knows how a normal size adult could use them. Disgusting.

We regularly visit Plymouth and usually end up at rakuda. Cocktails are good. Pizza was always good value and tasty. Not sure what they have done (new kitchen staff? but the pizza last visit was terrible. Too much tomato sauce and cheese. It was dripping. I think the owner is trying to appeal to the younger crowd based on DJ and style of live music from 6pm. May be I am getting old. Lost its appeal for me. If in 20s and 30s then will appeal.

We stopped due to the wonderful live entertainment and great view across the harbour. The food was amazing and surpassed only by the wonderful staff and service we had interactions with the 4 different members of staff and they were all fantastic. Well worth the visit! Book a table now
