When we received the bill at the end of our meal, we realized we had been charged £12.50 for five beers. I sent an email that same day but received no response, so I followed up a week later through their website contact form; again, no reply. Finally, on July 5, I called and spoke with Ralph Smith. He was unwilling to acknowledge that his staff had given us incorrect information and insisted that all beers consumed at his establishment incur the £2.50 corkage fee, disregarding what his staff had told us. On a positive note, the platter was enjoyable. However, the excessive corkage charges, the misinformation from the staff, and the owner's refusal to accept responsibility for a mistake we...
Five stars! as a proud resident of TW2 Whitton, I often find myself having to remind neighbours that I'm upper-middle class (i've a bachelors degree in media). This wine bar has given me a real depth. Sure i could buy wines here worth some £30 for £10 at the nearby lidl, but that's not the point! people are often very watchful in Whitton high st and it's always good practice to be seen buying expensive wines! It's a great place to shop!
We absolutely love Ralph's! It’s arguably the best spot for wine tasting evenings, where Ralph and his team go above and beyond to enhance the customer experience. The recommendations are fantastic, especially the unique cheeses. If you're a BBQ enthusiast, you have to try the hot sauces and rubs available at Ralph's. We’ve been coming here for the past two years and hope to continue for many more! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I have to thank the young staff for their exceptional service. Thanks to them we found some exciting new wines. We were not that enthusiastic about the food the mezze platter was a bit boring. Cheese one was ok. The main issue of the evening were our extensively noisy neighbors who subjected us to their rather vocal conversations. Book a table now
This charming fine wine and delicatessen shop located on the high street is well worth a visit. It offers both indoor and outdoor seating, providing a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere to enjoy a glass of wine or something special.
Good selection of wines and beers, which can a consumed in store. The snacks are just right and a good accompaniment to the drinks. The staff are knowledge and friendly, price are reasonable.
Don’t go here for coffee, even if it the only place open on the High Street after 5pm on Sunday, drink out of a dog bowl outside the Admiral Nelson instead and save yourself £10. Appalling.
The cheese is excellent, the wine is amazing, and the pâté and dips are fabulous! The nightly wine tasting is a great opportunity to sample a little bit of everything! Book a table now
Good place to drink few wines and staff was helpfull but unfortunately I didn't have time to check the inside shop.
