For the tonkotsu there are good things like how quickly it is served the portion of the pork slice, portion size. But I wish it was more creamy, and the egg was not hard boiled and cold. Spice level was solid. I would like to come back to try a more creamy ramen. The squid was also good but it was a lot to eat. Spend 27 dollars for the squid and the ramen, it might be overly on the price but that's okay. There was parking and it wasn't busy. I sampled two bowls to make a comparison, and although this might be the best option in the area, I have experienced better quality and flavor elsewhere. The broth lacks attention to detail; it’s bland and almost watery compared to true ramen. Moreover, the price is quite steep at $25 per bowl. The overall ambiance is rather dull, and there’s no music in the background. On a positive note, the staff is pleasant and friendly. I suggest trying other bowls besides the Seafood and Chicken.
If I could give this restaurant a rating lower than 1 star, I would. My experience was extremely disappointing. Just one minute after I placed my order, my ramen was brought to the table. The noodles had a strange texture, and the broth barely tasted better than plain water. The grilled squid was served cold and had a tough, chewy texture. The meal was so unappetizing that I couldn't even finish it. I will definitely not be coming back to this restaurant.
The price on the ramen keeps going up and now it’s $16 for a bowl, plus I bought the chicken karaage for $10 and it taste like old oil and I can’t even take another bite. This is a complete waste of money. I tried to continue to support this restaurant over and over again but it keeps getting worse. They seem to not care about their customers hard earned money.

My girlfriend and I love trying out various flavors in our meals. Working in the food service industry often makes everything feel the same, but we absolutely adore this restaurant because it provides a refreshing experience for our taste buds. I ordered the rib ramen, and I must say, the ramen is simply delightful, and the ribs are amazing. Food: 5/5.
We got Black Garlic Ramen, grilled whole squid and chicken karage. The service was nice and quick but it was kinda empty on Saturday night. Chicken Karage: 4/5 Grilled Whole squid : 4.5/5 Black garlic ramen: 2.5/5 good portion size but the pork on the ramen was cold, soup base was bit too diluted) not worth the price.
It's my son and I's first time here at Ramen 101 and it's worth it. I love what I ordered seafood ramen) as well as my son's black garlic ramen). Soup is hot the way I like it. Will come bsck here for sure.Food: 5/5
