So, I'm going to chalk this up to some teenager who doesn't know better. Outside by the condiments there are 3 different hot sauce green, red, and tapatios. These 3 should be placed in ice or at least the green and red. When I told the young lady. She told me the container lid was broken that's why there no ice for them. It's in a metal container what does that matter? You can put ice in it so bacteria will not grow. I think management needs to talk to your people about food hygiene.

I've been a fan of Ramones for years. Just a heads-up, you'll need base access to visit, but if you can get on, you'll find it right by the water. They serve some of the best Cali Burritos in North County. My top choice is Dave's California Burrito with chicken and carne asada, and I always add guacamole. If you're planning a laid-back beach day on base, this is a perfect place for lunch! Service: Dine-in.

I am only rating as a 3 due to the beautiful location. We were here on Sept 28th after 1:30pm. Ordered nachos which were in my opinion worse than movie theater nachos. My husband had Dave's burrito, the beef and chicken were dry and over cooked as if sitting around for a very long time. For goodness sake do better for the people you are serving who are serving you!

Overall, it was just mediocre, especially for a California Mexican restaurant. The prices were too high, the food was cold, and the service was lacking. The only positive is that it's located on the beach. Otherwise, I recommend going to San Luis or Eriberto’s instead. Book a table now

This place shouldn't be listed on maps or recommended as a dining option, as it's not accessible to the general public. I wasted my time driving here only to be turned away because it’s located on an army base!

This restaurant boasts a beautiful location and offers great lunch options. For takeout, I rated the food a perfect 5, the service also a strong 5, and the atmosphere received a 5 as well.
