Finally got to visit the famous Rawley’s. Growing up near a beloved fried hot dog spot out of state, I was eager to try this place. It has a tiny ordering counter with a few tables off to the side. The friendly man at the counter carefully confirmed everyone’s orders, both phone and walk-ins, before passing them to the cook. I appreciated that they offer both brown and yellow mustard—yes, it really matters. The sharp vinegar in yellow mustard balances the fatty, spicy flavors of a hot dog. This place is an institution in landmark of Fairfield. It’s a famous spot that David Letterman and Martha Stewart go to really great hotdogs and super cool place to eat. Really nice ambience in the employees are awesome. Super friendly definitely check this out if you’re in Fairfield or around there.
They don't make places like these anymore. Small place to get a quick bite to eat. Lunchtime getaway. Good food, great price and all made fresh. Will definitely come back for more! Loved it!
