My husband and I are at Rays recently for the first time. I wasn't expecting it to be a pop up eatery because the pictures on the website looks like a restaurant. My husband liked the food. It could have been a little warmer in temperature considering they were just setting up. They set up a table with chairs to eat outside. They do accept CC. We had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes, greens, country fried chicken patty, banana pudding made with ginger snaps I think and pound cake.Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free
The food at this restaurant is incredible!! It is prepared with love and a true passion for vegan cuisine. I enjoyed my meal with gratitude. My partner and I were so impressed by the wide variety of amazing vegan dishes that we couldn't decide what to order, so we ended up getting everything! Ray, the owner, is fantastic and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone, whether they are vegan or not. I can't wait to come back again soon!
The Sunday menu has the vegan country fried steak with mashed potatoes and collard greens and was very delicious and is all that comfort food should be. The banana pudding and pound cake had a good flavor and texture. The parking lot dining wasn't what was expected however the staff was very kind and made it work.Dietary restrictions: Everything is gluten free.
The food was phenomenal I had the Turkey chili bbq pulled pork, my 2 year old daughter even loves it !! Thank you so much Mr Ray, you were very kind helpful. The food is immaculate and I’ll most definitely be back for me of this amazing food! Its truly a blessing to be able to eat food made with love

Hand down the best soul food. And it's all vegan! Now located on the south side of St Pete on 1330 49th Street S. Ray has a table and chairs there in shade for those who cannot wait to take the food home and have to eat it on site. Very understandable! Updated by previous review on 2022-06-14

I visit this restaurant every Sunday to try out the new menu items. The majority of the dishes are gluten free and are delicious, with vegan versions of classic soul food favorites available.
I had the Mac and cheese and beef stew and both were absolutely amazing but special hats off to the Mac and cheese. Soooo good
