The food was great! Totally enjoyed the breakfast. Seems there's something on the menu to make everyone happy. We got the chilaquiles, huevos rancheros, breakfast ramen (the soup was very original/unique and the noodles were great), and the kids had the chocolate chip pancakes. All were delicious. I also appreciated their seasonal menu and enjoyed the coquito latte. We read some of the books on the shelves while waiting for our food, enjoyed the ambiance and friendly service. Will definitely be back!
The food at this restaurant was excellent. The latte I had was just the right amount of sweetness, even though it was a brown sugar latte. The sludge cold brew was delicious. The frittata sandwich was made with egg whites and vegetables on whole grain toast with sriracha. The blueberry pancakes were also very good. The service was attentive and the restaurant offers extra seating in the neighboring alleyway for when the weather is nice. There is also street parking available.
This cafe is a fantastic spot for a delicious breakfast or lunch. The food, coffee, and pastries are all tasty. The service is quick and friendly. Our go-to orders are the green eggs and ham and the pancakes, but the omelettes are also delicious and fluffy. Highly recommend trying it out!
Do not get the Root Down. I was excited to try it but it was so bad that I unfortunately have to write this review. Unfortunately there was a vinegar base taste to the veggies. It really didn't need it. I only ate the poached egg on top.
