please read it's long but informative, Popped into the red lion Islip after wanting to for a while for Sunday lunch, was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere ambiance and warm and cosy nature of the pub great surroundings and lovely venue with lovely garden area and good parking, was greeted by the barmen and taking to our table then asked if we wanted a bigger table or was this ok very helpful and friendly, once seated we were asked if wanted to order drinks and he explained lagers ales etc arrived promptly with said drinks after a couple of minutes Lilly our waitress arrived and explained the Sunday lunch options chalk menu in hand very bubbly and friendly a credit to management we order...
I went to the red lions yesterday, as the pictures had seen online, it is reopened etc. and decided in the midday for a meal with my sister and her partner and I have to say what is a wonderful, warmhearted hospitality place. the decor is so beautiful and it is so festive in it, as land as-I love it! we sat in the escort that was so beautiful and the employees are all so friendly and welcoming. we ordered two burgers and a cake from the menu and we were all really satisfied with our meal times, they were delicious and we will definitely be back customer. as local villagers we could not mistake and recommend visiting the place.

This is a great pub gardens are good for the kids the food is fab and the staff are the best and you are always made welcome
for what islip has waited! nice cozy pub with leather sofa and fire, really delicious food and open to breakfast!
a short stop to dinner on our trip to the house. can't ask for a friendly pub. eating was also quite brilliant!
