Our group of three was there on Saturday night. It was my first time here. The restaurant was busy, but not full. One of my friends and I arrived first, and it took a full 10 minutes for anyone to acknowledge our presence, as we waited by the "Please wait to be seated" sign. There was a girl at the computer not 3 feet from us who never once lifted her eyes, gave us a nod, told us someone would be with us shortly -nothing. I'm not sure what she was doing, but apparently it required her undivided attention. Other staff persons walked by repeatedly but again, no acknowledgment whatsoever. Finally, we were seated. I am excited that the Red Satay opened a Dieppe location. This location has more elbow room with the same amazing food that you get on the St. George location. I love the vermicelli bowls and the spring rolls. It is a place where you can have a great meal and a decent price and you don't feel gross afterwards. The food is light and tasty. One small pet peeve of mine on this location is that you have to go outside of the restaurant into the building to use the bathrooms, but with that said those bathrooms are nice new and clean.
Red Satay is one of my absolute favourite places to eat when I am in Dieppe. The food is excellently prepared, with fresh ingrediants and full delicious flavours. The "Jennie" is the most popular dish, although I prefer to get a version with only beef and shrimp - the wonton soup is also undeniably delicous!
Visited the Red Satay in Dieppe with my wife and her sister. Waiter was nice and fun to talk with. Place was not to busy. Food was above par. The girls had soup for their main and I had curried chicken on noddles. A couple of appetizers completed the meal well. I will return.

A friend of mine had been raving about Red Satay so I went with her to see what the fuss was about. I was weary because of my allergies to different spices. I was happy to find out that I could choose on the menu something that I could eat safely and that it was quite good.
I had the jenny and my wife had the chicken curry with noodles... Food was awesome and our waitress Nicole was polite, patient and knew her menu inside and out and answered all our questions... Definitely will be back..
My second time here and it was as good as the first time,we will be going again.Made a reservation as it can be busy Saturday night . Eat the Jenny special again it was still good.Was worth the 30 min drive from home.
We have been eating Asian style cuisine for years but unfortunately did not enjoy our food. Very over priced and bland! Meat seemed to be over cooked. Would not recommend.

Red Satay never dissapoints I really love their spring rolls and peanut sauce along with Their vermicelli bowls. Yummy
Their Jenny Platter on noodles is phenomenal...as is their homemade no-dairy ice cream! It is well worth the wait.
