Redd is one of the best upscale American restaurants in Rochester if not the best. The Chef, Richard Reddington, has put together an inspired menu in this downtown restaurant. Tucked behind the Little Theater, there is plenty of parking. In the good weather months, outdoor dining is available. You should reserve early if you want to request outdoor seating.
Wow, Wow, Wow. Details, attentiveness, knowledgeable, polite. That's all before the food. I ryoically don't like to name names but Miles our server is phenomenal at his detail oriented serving. This restaurant is a gem.
The service was sub par, the sever asked if would like a box in which I replied yes but then they never came back. I wish they would pay more attention to the side tables. It's a pass for me for next time, overrated.

Can never go wrong with Redd. Excellent seasonal menu, good drinks, and great atmosphere! Their scallops and tomato pie are one of the best things on the menu
