Had reviewed this club before with a poor review. In fairness, it was just the night that was in it and I believe every place should get a second review if possible. Anyone can have a bad night even reviewers. Been here a few...times since and I have to admit that the place has come on leaps and bounds. The meals in the steakhouse are delicious and great value. The wait staff are very friendly and I must commend the club on engaging a diverse workforce. All staff have a friendly demeanor and seem to genuinely like working there. The beers on tap are cold and well priced. They have so much activity to get involved in from Bowls and poker nights to Bingo! Businesses have had a few tough years...
This Club just keeps improving; from the welcome at the desk, to the friendly bar staff, helpful restaurant staff and courtesy bus drivers. Our family (including 2 with Coeliac Disease and 1 gluten intolerant) love coming here the variety of gf food is great...and they have a dedicated gf fryer. Inge is amazing so customer focussed and helpful. Bec is always cheerful and helpful. The live shows the club organise are great quality and the staff are efficient and friendly. I have rated only 4 stars, as the food is a bit expensive for the size of the meals in the Steakhouse Restaurant.
Today I decided to have a light lunch in the coffee area. I chose the spinach and ricottalasagna which was served with a salad.The lasagna was tasteless and not nearly hot enough despite having obviously been heated in a microwave.The only taste came in the sachet of Italian dressing..My flat white coffee was barely warm.I have eaten here on numerous occasions and never before been so disappointed.
Terrible meal small quantity and cold when I received it very overpriced for the quality of the meal The price of alcohol has risen out of control and a hew card system has been introduced to try and justify the increase. The only ones that...benefit from this is the high rollers. I hope everyone remembers the board members they elected who voted for this and hold them accountable at the next agm
