The atmosphere at this busy inner Sydney city eatery is so Italian it reminds me of an Italian restaurant in Monforte d 'Alba. The food is tradtional in all respects from the breads to the spaghetti as they say fare una spaghettata but I digress....The meals are quick with generous portion control so look forward to a hearty dish. I had the SAUSAGE PORCINI which is simply Italian sausage and porcini in the chef 's special sauce. The veal ALLA ROMANA which is scallopine with proscuito, sage and white wine was also outstanding. As the Italians say non puoi avere la botte piena e la moglie ubriaca so enjoy this fast paced Italian restaurant gem.

Great place, simple décor, good food, good service, BYO, affordable, close to city, on 389 bus route, but noisy as hell. Don't go on a Saturday or Friday night if you want to talk as opposed to all out yelling or texting on a smart...phone. Noise level unmanageable. Little chance of parking nearby. Didn't check loos. Definitely recommend and will visit again but not on a weekend.

We couldn’t go to Bar Reggio on this occasion so went to Reggio Lounge instead. It’s always reliable! I had the lasagne and rosenpmary potatoes. I love the rosemary potatoes and there were enough to share amongst the table. My fellow pdiners had John Dory,...calves liver with bacon and lemon sole. All reported good things.
