**Our Experience**: We were a group of five dining at ReMix Kitchen Bar for dinner on Saturday night, June 3, in celebration of a birthday. **Overall Impression**: It was an outstanding experience! If you haven't been yet, make a reservation right away – you won’t regret it. The service, atmosphere, food, and flavors were all top-notch, creating a fantastic vibe. The portions were generous, yet we managed to finish everything; there wasn't a single bite left on any plate throughout the meal. **Ambiance and Service**: The staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly professional. The entire experience felt relaxed and welcoming. The team goes out of its way to make every group feel s...

I made a reservation for 11:30 am on a Sunday for four through Yelp, which was very easy to do. We arrived a bit early at 11:10 am and were seated immediately. The restaurant was completely empty when we arrived, and no other guests were seated until 12:40 pm. A quick note on service: it wasn’t great—there was a long wait for our food, starters arrived after the entrees, and one entree was forgotten. However, the staff informed us they were short-staffed due to a wedding reception happening outside. Because of this, my review focuses on the ambiance and food quality rather than the service. I’d consider giving them another chance in the future. From the brunch menu, we had the following:...

The ambiance was a bit lackluster. I was surprised that a Filipino inspired restaurant was lacking just that culture. The only thing Filipino in the entire place were the traditionally staple dishes the all white staff had poorly appropriated. The food was cold, specifically the shrimp lumpia and fried chicken. The pork cheek adobo has sour. The carbonara was nothing to write home about, but decent. They have an exposed/open kitchen, so you can see everything that the cook's are doing. The main cook/chef was not wearing gloves when handling raw foods and returning to handling other foods. He was preserving egg yolks with his bare hands, wiped his hands on his apron, took a bite of some food,...

I recently visited ReMix Kitchen in Long Beach, and unfortunately, my group and I were disappointed with our meal. I had previously dined at Mix Mix when they were in downtown Santa Ana and had always enjoyed their food, so I was excited to try their new location. However, with the exception of the albacore tostadas, which were as good as I remembered them to be, the food was underwhelming at best and terrible at worst. We ordered the carbonara, bolognese, seafood pasta, and loco moco, but only the bolognese was somewhat enjoyable. The seafood pasta had an extremely sour taste to it, making it the most unpleasant pasta dish I've ever had. The carbonara and loco moco were also underwhelming, w... Book a table now

Tried out this spot for Long Beach restaurant week and we were not disappointed! They had a three course menu for $35 which was a great deal! We got the fried chicken thighs, the pork cheek adobo and then loco moco. The pork cheek had a really good flavor and nice flaky meat and then loco had a yummy ground beef. The pork cheek adobo is a staple Filipino dish and the loco is a staple Hawaiian dish. Both were so scrumptious, filling and lots of unique flavors. The fried chicken thigh in honey was so good, highly recommended this for a shared appetizer, you get two pieces of chicken. Then tropical dessert was so tasty, again so many different flavors and textures. The ube ice cream stood out t...

Had a lovely dinner here that just happened to coincide with Long Beach's Dine out promotion, so it was a prix fixe 3 course meal. Mix Mix in DTSA was one of my favorite restaurants for a while, but he has closed the space. The outpost in South Coast Plaza just isn't the same (beer wine only for one, more pizza/flatbread focused as well) and I have not tried the newer French-forward spot at South Coast. But ReMix is more of the vibe of the DTSA spot, with some similar foods (where did the raviolo go though), cocktails, and a more modern look to the place. There are still the Pilipino influences to the menu, which works well, and they still do one of the best versions of salmon I find out and...

The Fettuccine Bolognese was excessively oily, making it necessary for me to eat only from the top of the plate. The service was painfully slow, and the restaurant was far from busy. We had ordered dessert at the start, but after waiting even after finishing our meals, we decided to cancel it. Unfortunately, prices have risen significantly, and you certainly don’t get your money's worth. I really wish they would have offered dessert on the house since I mentioned my dissatisfaction.

Lots of interesting and unique drinks and dishes to choose from. Everything we tried was tasty, especially the mushroom risotto. Service was attentive and friendly, and we liked the trendy atmosphere. Will be coming back!Food: 5/5 Book a table now

Overall, the service was great and the food was fantastic. The tostadas, fried chicken, clam pasta, and shrimp lumpias were amazing! The drinks were delicious too—especially the cream soda with bourbon. So good!
