We actually ate here last year and enjoyed it so we chose this place again when we visited Grasse for the day. We were made most welcome. Our dog was made welcome and and the waiter sat us near a door he could open so she could lie in the cool while we ate. The food was really good and special mention must be given to the chicken curry risotto which was excellent and most unusual. We did not find this restaurant was overpriced as the food was high quality, the service was prompt and friendly and the location is right on the main square.
The menu looked promising, but we were disappointed with some of the food. My beignets des fleurs de courgettes (deep-fried zucchini flowers) was pleasant enough, but my partner ordered a cabillaud fillet with a white sauce. He asked how thick the fillet would be, and was told it was ‘normal’. The sauce was tasteless, and the fish turned out to be thin and dry. The service was friendly and efficient, and the outdoor dining very pleasant on a sunny day. However, this did not make up for the disappointment with the fish.
Very calm restaurant at the end of a quiet square. I had my favourite of mussels which were juicy. My partner a very good Caesar salad. There could be more attention detail in the service. The bowl stacked high with mussel shells should have been cleared; normally a restaurant will give you a little hand cleanser for the fingers as they are messy to eat and you should never have to ask for coffee twice.
Recommended by one of the local shopkeepers and it was a good one. Good location looking over the square, efficient service and good food. Quick with the food but in no rush to push us out. Interesting looking bar so I'm also planning to go back in the evening. Looks like it could be lively. If you find yourself in Grasse, this would be a good place to lunch

My wife and I arrived with only one other table occupied. Five or six tables arrived, all locals it seemed, and all but one were served before us. It appeared that local customers were given priority over us. We waited a very long time between dishes. Other reviewers have reported similar experiences. Very disappointed by this rude behavior!
Nice to eat in the street on a warm evening. Service is very friendly and the food is reasonable priced. Group of 7. Burger looked immense, the moules were good but a lot of broken shell and mussels still had some beards on but still tasted good. Veal was a little greasy but nice. Overall a average to good experience and worth a stop.
A fixed 3 course menu for 25€ per head with beef and Thuna as the main course was excellent value for money. The service was super friendly looked like the owner of the place. The rose wine from provance was very drinkable as well. I highly recomment this place for dinner nicley located at the end of a larger plaza.
Four of us had excellent 23.50 euros 3 course menu with good choices and a very nice Provencal rose wine. The restaurant is situated at the top end of the Place . The interior had an arched dining room which looked cosy for a cooler evening. I didn't think the toilet was dirty.

Had dinner here on a recent visit to Grasse and was amazed that we were the only people in the place (it was a Wednesday in Feb! We had wonderful, friendly service, a great meal washed down with an excellent rose and it was great value.
We were very happy with this place great view of the square just lunch but very good, very good service and great company!
