The service was impeccable. The food was extrodenary. The woman and I were very pleasantly surprised. We are not familiar with wine, but our waitress and the other staff there was very knowledgeable and could not have felt more comfortable with us not familiar with different flavors. The woman had the steak and I had the duck. Both were excellent. Little portions, yes, but we haven't been hungry. So just the right amount. I recommend and will recommend this place to everyone to try at least once and let the service, wine and food speak for themselves. They won't be disappointed.
A restaurant in downtown Grand Rapids with an excellent and deserved reputation. Reserve has decorated an inviting dining area with interesting art, including the 2009 ArtPrize Siegermalerei; an attentive and knowledgeable staff; a remarkable wine and beverage list; and a menu full of surprises and delights. We were a party of four, one of which had a mobility problem that had to be done at a certain time so that we could go to the opera, and they took us well. Very recommended.
Love this place! My husband and I were here a few times together. We went last night to celebrate our birthdays, and it was perfect! We had a good service every time. Yesterday Kris was our waiter and he was great. Very knowledgeable, able to give great suggestions for wine and food. We love this place and will come again and again because we know every time we get great service, good food and wine and it's just a very pleasant evening! Thank you.
I had the pleasure of eating here often, and it was always an absolute pleasure. After a great Valentine's Day dinner I felt compelled to check. Absolute ass around the staff, the meal prep and the pairings for your special menu. short lunch menu which makes choosing what to eat easy! beautiful decor, attentive server, very good starter of parsnip soup with harissa, very good wine list , sandwiches looked interesting although i didnt order. my husband had pecorino sausage which he loved!
This is my favorite place to go to dine. Every time we walk through the door it is a memorable event. With superior service, always delicious food, fab wine selection and amazing--truly amazing cocktails from the bar, what could be better?
The wine choices suggested with our meals were delicious. Our server Alex informed us the the beef in Jim’s burger was ground on the premises that day (their usual way). My lamb was delicious but I didn’t eat all the olives topping it.
