What to say about this place? We just went there for Friday dinner to celebrate the start of our holidays. It is situated in a historic building near Schwerin Castle in the centre of town. There is ample space to sit outside, but at this...time of year, it still tends to get chilly at night, so we preferred to sit inside. At the entrance there is a little wine shop and the interior tries to be modern with very high ceilings. As it is asparagus season in Germany, we went for the asparagus soup for starters. my experience with this place was part of a bus tour and the bus company had selected this place. I suspect, above all, because it can keep people. I had seen this place on a previous trip and was excited to hear that our group. after our visit to Schwerins city center should go there. the place looked very attractive and beautifully decorated. our bus left us on the bus parking lot near the caffe and while we went past, we could see that the tables were already set up, including the cake pieces. Da wurde mehr versprochen als es,überteuert, tatsächlich war. Gestartet haben wir mit einer unfreundlichen Begrüßung- man kann auch sagen, wir wurden gemaßregelt. Bei einer vorher bekannten Personenzahl wäre es gut gewesen, im Vorfeld die Platzierung abzusprechen und nicht einfach getrennte Tische anzubieten. Leider waren wir nicht alleine in dem Raum, so dass es viel zu laut war. Auch das hätte im Vorfeld geklärt werden können. Durch das Warmhalten der Speisen entwickelte sich nahezu Hitze, die kaum zu ertragen war (selbst bei geöffneten Fenstern und die Außentemperaturen ließen ein längeres Belüften nicht zu) . We had a dinner at this restaurant and enjoyed the lovely terrace. We first had turbot, which was delicious. The second course was lamb rack with chanterelles. When the portion came to the table, I got lamb file instead of rack and no chanterelles. When...I complained, I got chanterelles, and then afterwards also the lamb rack. This service fault was very unfortunate as the lamb rack and chanterelles were really delicious

No big veggie selection in the menu. I was really into a cep soup but they did not know whether it was veggie or not. So I ended up with a potato soup, hoping they were right when they told me it was veggie. For...the main cause I took a standard dish and gave the gamba to my colleague. Service not good knowledge of their ingredients. Location nice. My colleagues happy.
We had a great dinner to celebrate my parents Ruby Wedding Anniversary. We called ahead and they had one last table left which we booked immediately. The service was great. Friendly, with a smile, elegant and attentive. The food was also great. Seasonal and nicely...presented, good portions. We had a great time and would definitely go again!
German restaurants are still catching up with the rest of Europe. This place is doing well. We had the three course set meal which included a good coconut soup with a scallop and very good lamb. Service a bit mixed ,soup nearly ended up in...friend's lap. Good wine list
We had a fantastic lunch in this place. Very spacious with modern decor. There is also a terrace and free parking. Food is German cuisine, they use seasonal foods and all was cooked to perfection. Staff were friendly too!
