I have been here two times now, with a group of friends, after two hours of Scottish dancing. I have been really impressed with the food and the friendly staff. They have a 17 euro 50 menu where you can choose either to have a starter and main course or a main course and desert. This also includes a glass of wine or a coffee. I am a fish lover and adore trout but always find it a pain to take out the bones. Imagine my surprise when my trout arrived with the bones taken out. Doesnt look much from the outside and terrace seating is in a car park off the main road but dont be put off service and food. Lovely.Had good wine an aperol spritz. Kid had a beefburger (amazing) i had tagliatelle bolognese and partner had shrimp risotto was lovely and creamy. We had a lemon dessert reccomended to us and it was amazing.All in all great food.
We had a late dinner here yesterday with in-laws. There was availability for our six person group at the back of the restaurant. We had menus which were nicely done. Also the staff was very nice and friendly. We appreciated the nice service homely food and will probably visit again.
A brief visit but the service was impeccable, friendly interactive and great with the little one too. Credit to the owners and cannot recommend any stronger. Excellent.

Driving along Dupont on a Saturday evening, saw this neat little place while stopped at a red light and decided to pop in for dinner.
Ate here with my family. Good food, nice cocktails. Warm welcome, downside is the view, the terrace is on the carpark.
When I moved to Toronto, years ago, I heard of the name "Farmhouse Tavern" more than once.
A solid brunch spot with decent sized patio, tasty food, and friendly staff.
