we booked a table for family members. friendly greeting from female staff from beginning to end. we have not booked a problem with our school days French and table. pleasant, friendly service around a busy evening....Our waiter was very attentive and made sure we were happy with everything. we sat under large marquee area with beautiful lighting, it was a little cool, but the weather was particularly terrible this day with strong rain. good quality fresh food, well presented with super chilled wine. I would highly recommend this restaurant. we had a nice evening. merci beaucoup
very good midday menu. appetizers and main courses were all good with good portions and delicious gratin dauphinois. a little disappointing with frozen chicken bugs. should have gone for the fish dish (in the child menu) that is fresh what we have seen in past. very pleasant service and friendly waiter. a visit to the hygienic toilet they don't always find anywhere.
Fabulous staff, amazing menu and terrific atmosphere. We were an English party of hadn't booked. As we were next in line, the waiter turned people away to make room for our Excellent service, with humour, spoke English and nothing was too much trouble....We ate in the covered part of the restaurant outside which was lovely. Totally recommend.
we already enjoy this restaurant some times and it is currently our favorite in houlgate. it is not expensive and whatever we eat (meat/fish/seafood) was always fresh and beautifully prepared. In addition, the waiters/witresses are friendly, attentive in their various styles and amusing. highly recommended.
