Opened 10 months again after years of being closed, Le Four is definitely one of the best restaurants in Castelnaudary and the surrounding district. Menus at 23 and 29 euros. 23 euros gets you a four course menu of the day with two choices of starter, main and sweet and cheese board. 29 euro menu is ala carte but can be sub-divided into 1, 2, 3, or 4 courses at very reasonable prices. Fresh, locally sourced ingredients cooked to perfection.Good wine card and the expensive choices are great value. Great service and genuinely warm and attentive welcome from Madame. Good service in slightly austere, modern, monotone surroundings. Watch out for huge pot holes in the car park entrance!
