Bel endroit bien décoré et meublé mais malheureusement pas géré par des gens du métier. Annoncé comme un sandwich c est une tartine qui arrive. Le plat de salade même pas assaisonné - 19.50 CHF quand même. Face a ces manquements le serveur très sympa offre la boisson mais ne cherche pas a corriger en cuisine. Ensuite arrive femme et enfants et nous commandons boissons et une frite. Les liquides sont arrivés après le solide bien que nous ayons redemandé et recommandé après d un autre serveur aussi sympa qu'impertinent. Alors a moins d'être maso, inutilement dépensier ou un proche de l'équipe, cet endroit est à éviter.
Restaurant qui vaut le détour dans la petite station de Champoussin (choix limité !). Le cadre, à l'intérieur, a du charme et le personnel sympathique (même s'il n'est pas suisse ... où est le problème ! Heureusement qu'il y a également des touristes étrangers pour faire tourner l'économie du Valais !).La petite carte des mets est originale et variée, ET surtout les plats sont bons, même jusqu'aux desserts.Petit bémol, ce n'était pas très chauffé (soir). Pour les frileux(ses), prévoir un petit lainage.
This could easily have been an excellent rating had it not been for some mix up between staff waiting tables and the kitchen. Basically our main course came before our starter. Apart from that this was an excellent meal and would certainly recommend Le Poussin to anyone staying in Champoussin. We do live in the Netherlands and so did recognise the Dutch theme throughout the menu, so don't come here expecting traditional Swiss menu. Staff recognised the issue mentioned above and were very apologetic.
The restaurant: Nice and easy going. The owners are Dutch and very friendly. The menu is good for a friendly/family lunch or dinner without too much fuss. One will like the couple of Dutch specialities available like broodtje krokett : The Bar: Good for a couple of drinks after dinner downstairs. From 11pm, music and funky drinks make your night even more enjoyable.

I love this place and I really recommend it! Le Poussin looks very nice and atmospheric inside. The music is very nice. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Menus are good and the food is very very tasty. I enjoyed my stay at Le Poussin and I hope I will be back here next time with my boyfriend!
Last year we had dinner which was top notch and remembered it always. This year we stopped here for lunch, excellent food as always, but maybe because it was as a good weather day, it took long time for the dishes to come, other than...More
The restaurant is close to the slope, has a very nice terrace and a friendly interior. The menue is not elaborate but features something for everybody. The food was very good, the servings generous. Service was very friendly and competent.
This restaurant is located in Champoussin. It is cosy during dinner, and more hectic during lunch time- all the skiers stop there at lunch, so a bit noisy then. Food is great. Normally open only for dinner during low season.

The restaurant is cozy and inviting. We stay downstairs in the ensuite bunkrooms and it was magic!! Loved every minute The kids had a blast too We would definitely love to return for another holiday
Food is on point as always, But the crew and owner always make us feel so welcome. The place is located right on the slopes so we pass by every morning to have a coffee before we go skiing
