was a real catastrophe when we arrived shortly after 17 o'clock, it was still dark and the workers were eating when we asked if we were to come in, had to wait 10 minutes (although the opening times are 17 o'clock). when we were served, we had ordered pizza and pasta, the pizza was not to think because the salt was missing. the coworker wanted me to cut a piece so he and his taste taste. he went back with the piece and brought it to him. This wonderfully located restaurant started only recently. We had minestrone alla nonna, sea food risotto, risotto with beef and lasagne alla casalinga with half a liter of Primitivo, which were all excellent. The asset of this restaurant is the fact that it is conveniently located...at the lake of Zurich, not so far from Männedorf ship landing, next to Cinema Wildenmann. During the warm-season we can sit outside enjoying the lake view, watching the ships roll by. The restaurant was crisp and clean (also clean and spacy toilet). Some draw backs: the parking space is right in front of the restaurant and there is Seestrasse (main road), between the lake and the restaurant. But most of the rest...
Italian is only the restaurant name here. appetizer was not as declared on the menu card. I have to return it. the waiter has meant only I have already tipped .mir but no new appetizer brought tagliatelle al sugo: the acid of the tomantes could be almost smelled and seen. tagliatelle al salmone: a high on the cream bath and on the burned wobble (taste I still have in mouth today) espresso we could not order. machine was already cleaned. at 21:00! Who wants to eat italian correctly and also knows what Italian eat really is going anywhere but not in il lago mai PIÙ!!!!
the food and the pizza were excellent, well tasted. super nice and friendly service. İch come every month 5 to 6 times only because of the beautiful environment and the delicious food. it is also cheap. I recommend everyone who wants a good meal.
