we have made our lunch in the mountain restaurant riederfurka and have been very finely spiced in front of fantastic scenery. besides the classics like pommes or raclette there are also fine walliser specialties such as cholera (warm) or cold meat and cheek plates. all served fine and nice, but not very cheap. in particular the fr. 6.50 for the 0.5 liter pet fläschli softdrinks we found - despite a personal conversation with the seemingly eternal art furrer - as something too expensive.
a foot from the hohfluh to riederfurka, we took a short break in this magnificent panoramic restaurant all of wood and stone dressed -:)the welcome is very warm. We're feeling too good. You can just drink qqch or eat a small snack (succulent cakes) or small dishes.Just below the villa breakl, this restaurant is worth a visit!
