If we feel like a local meal for dinner, we drive to Sterkel in Urberach. Ambience and presentation may be somewhat old-fashioned, but the quality of food is great. Nothing nice, but just really well made food. Rumpsteaks are always perfect, so different meat. And friendly service! I would always recommend people who appreciate good cooking because it is not so easy to find.
Jurgen and family roll the welcome mat for you here. The first time I had eaten there was in 1986 and the fried chicken was to die to say the least. The family really cares about you and I'm glad they still get strong.
On Saturday evening we found a totally unfriendly service that had forgotten a lot, the dishes lasted over 1 hour and unfortunately not tasted, salted, without bite, no high quality food.
Loved the food, restaurant was full of locals, so they knew that the food was good and it was! I have a lot of food and the prices were very affordable.
